The informal group of young people self-called “Vivacitas Youth” has become the
association “Societatea Educatională Platon”- Plato’s Learning Society
Bucharest, 23.08.2011- „Vivacitas Youth”, the informal group of young people was
founded in September 2009 out of the desire to create a community in which youngsters have
unconditionally access to information on educational opportunities both at national level and
European one. „Vivacitas Youth” has become a private legal body and will now function as
“Societatea EducaŃională Platon”- Plato’s Learning Society.
The motto of the NGO is „motivating minds to knowledge”. Through the undertaken activities,
persons of all ages from Romania benefit from free advice on programs of non-formal and
informal education from both inside Romania and abroad.
All interested in the activities of Plato’s Learning Society are invited to visit the association’s
Facebook page. On Facebook one can find a series of information on internships, traineeships,
trainings and courses developed within European projects, financed by the European
Commission.
Also, those who want to become fans of the ideal society of the great philosopher Plato are
encouraged to share information, opinions and suggestions about the various educational
